A tantalizing tea with the taste of sweet creamy caramel and toasty roasted hazelnut with a buttery finish. A perfect complement to post-dinner conversation, or as a delightful cup anytime. Enhance with a splash of milk.  

Peach Rhubarb Preserve

This organic rare white tea brews up all the bounty of a summer harvest. Savory rhubarb and the sweet taste of lush peaches are blended with fragrant, floral hibiscus. This cup sings with delight. Refreshing iced.

Blueberry Merlot

Deep taste of succulent summer-sweet 

blueberries with a wisp of sage to 

heighten an excellent cup. Corkscrew 

not required.

Cocktail Infusions

The Collection includes three Lemongrass Mint, three Lavender Citrus and two Silkroad Chai Spirited Tea™infusers.  Recipe booklet included.





Bergamont Shooter

1 Lavender Citrus infuser
3 oz vodka
orange wedge

-  Place infuser in glass.
-  Pour vodka over infuser and steep 2-3 minutes.
-  Add infused vodka into a shaker with ice, shake vigorously.
-  Strain into 2 shot glasses.

To drink: Take the shot and follow with a bite into the orange wedge.

Wedding Trends 2014

With this stubborn snow its hard to believe, but wedding season is upon us.  Based on what we are finding popular locally and across the globe, here are some of the hottest trends for weddings this year:


COLOUR: pale pinks, neutrals, coral, navy blue, grey and aqua in all sorts of combinations.  Click here for more inspiration

FLOWERS:  Brides are straying from the trailing bouquets and more are opting for that tidy, rounded look.  Big, lush, full, multi petalled blooms: peonies, garden roses.  A less expensive option for a similar look is football mums, or realistic faux peonies as their season is short. RECEPTION: Smaller and more personal soirees.  Rustic/Romantic is huge.  Think Burlap and lace, Roses in mason jars.  Lots of fun outdoors themed ideas.  Some are also requesting an "unplugged" wedding, requesting guests not to facebook or instagram photos from the big day.  More here

FOOD/DRINK:  Brunch!  Again, with small weddings becoming more popular, it opens many doors that wouldn't be a good fit for a large group.  Be inspired here

HONEYMOON: While many opt for the easy peasy all-inclusive resort there are many other ways for the two of you to get away.  Some sweet spots    other locales

New Tea Forte!

 Summers not over yet so it's the perfect time to grab some fresh new summer teas! 

A new shipment of Tea Forte arrived not to long ago and I wanted to share some of new items we brought in. 

First, the Tea-Over-Ice system. This allows you to brew you favorite tea in the upper chamber then flash chill it by pouring it over the ice in the bottom chamber! Tea-Over-Ice makes making iced teas fast and easy. These two pitchers are hand blown and are designed to look beautiful on your table.

The perfect companion for the Over-Ice is this sample pack. The Nantucket Sampler pack includes a selection of white, black and herbals teas. Lavender Citrus and White Ginger Pear to name my favorites. This flavorful selection of teas is the perfect way to pick your favorite.

From iced to hot (or iced again). The Garden Harvest petite sampler is another great way to sample a selection of teas with out having to fully commit to a whole tin. This selection of white teas includes White cinnamon Sage, Wild Apple Ginger, Tangerine Rosemary, Tupelo Honey Fig, and Peach Rhubarb Preserve. My favorite of the bunch is Tangerine Rosemary which is great iced and is what I am currently drinking while I type up this post.
