Soooo, what is it you wanted???

I think I just made a stinky...  Think the photographer smells it?

Uhhhhhhhhhhh, what was I doing just now?

Don't you touch my coffee lady.

This one's for you SARA!!

Come any closer and I'll scratch your eyes out!

You talkin to me?!

Thats just FANTASTIC! Yippee-doo!

Mothers Day was HUGE success

 The shop was exploding with colour and delicious fresh scent.  It was hard to believe when there were no flowers left.

Those who ordered early got the best selection.

We delivered far and wide - within Lumsden and as far as Strasbourg to bring well wishes and special goodies to Moms in the area.

SPECIAL: now until May 15: spend $100+ on anything (except wine kits and taxes) and receive a $10 gift card.

Thank you to everyone for another great Mothers Day.

Grou-pon Promotion and Flooding Rivers

So, our Deal from Groupon: 50% off flowers,
ended Sunday with 23 sold.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Qu'Appelle is no longer on the rise.  The flooded fields surrounding Lumsden are starting to drain back towards the rivers rightful place.  The dikes/burms have held the river at bay in town - THANK YOU to all town staff and volunteers.
Our town has decided to seal off the bridge with new burms at 1pm Sat April 16, in order to necessitate better flood control. cjme news Town info
Apparently the town staff hope to open up the bridge once all danger of imminent flood is passed - likely  next week: April 26 or 27th.
We ARE open for business as usual.
Valentine's Day is Monday February 14
100 Rainbow Roses came to Saskatchewan for Valentines Day and we got 50 of them and they went fast!
Lumsden Florist etc.
Rainbow Roses Are Extra Special Flowers For The Extra Special People In Your Life
Rainbow roses are exactly what they sound like... roses in the colors of a rainbow. They look like a box of crayons had babies with a bunch of roses.
They were designed by Peter Van de Werken, who owns a flower company close to Den Bosch in southern Holland.  Rainbow roses are real roses, but they can't be purchased as a rose bush.  They are only available as cut or dried flowers.
These special roses are made by inserting dye into the stem of the roses while they are growing, which results in the color being absorbed by the petals of the flower.  They are not easy to make, as they take a bit of careful engineering.   Rainbow roses are used to create unusual and striking floral arrangements, wedding bouquets, and they are often given as gifts.
People either love them, or hate them.
There is no middle ground with these brightly colored flowers in shades of blue, purple, green orange, pink, and yellow.
How Much Are Rainbow Roses?
Lumsden Florist etc. had rainbow roses in brilliant arrangements and various price points during Valentine's Day 2011.  For example, 6 rainbow roses in a bouquet of greenery starts at $68, and 1 dozen rainbow roses can cost as much as $165.
